About Us
In late 2008, we - sisters Mary Beth, Vicky and Kelly - discovered the most amazing property just a few miles outside of Albany, Minnesota. It was 116 acres of almost entirely untouched land filled with trees, three beautiful small lakes, and wildlife galore. On this amazing property was a huge house that needed a little tender loving care. So after a lot of discussion and soul searching, we decided to take the plunge! We purchased the property and began our adventure of starting Whispering Acres, LLC and renovating this 30 year old house from top to bottom!
The whole experience has been a roller coaster of emotions, but in the end we are happy to say that we have put together an amazing retreat, which feels like home away from home (but even better!). We have completely renovated the kitchen and all of the bathrooms, as well as completely painted and re-carpeted the remainder of the house. We have redone almost all of the landscaping and created two beautiful patios for you to sit back and enjoy the surrounding nature. We have provided only the best for our guests.
Now, we are excited to invite you to come and visit us. We will do everything we can to make your time at Whispering Acres enjoyable, relaxing and stress free as possible. If you don't want to cook, we'll help you out! If you want to scrapbook, we've tried to create an inspiring work environment. And if you want to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Minnesota, we have hiking, canoeing, and biking available as you walk out the front door.
